1. Start the program and connect your Android device

Connect your Android device to your laptop or computer using a USB cable, Launch dr.fone on your computer, and select "Recover".


2. Select the type of file you want to restore on your Android

If it is a rooted Android phone, you must provide super user rights for dr.fone. Simply tap "Allow" when the pop-up appears on your screen and asks you for permission.

The phone is now ready to scan and dr.fone will ask for the file type, which you want to scan for. Check or uncheck the boxes depending on your needs.


3. Scan your Android devices to find lost files and put them up again

The next screen will appear and prompt you to select the type of scans. The "Standard mode" is looking both for deleted as well as currently files available on the device. The "Advanced Mode" is necessary if the Standard mode is not enough. First, select the default mode and press "Next".
